I had no relationship with my mother. Our family was dysfunctional before it was trendy. You can't miss what you never had.
However...I've seen my wife "mommy" four children. I've been privileged to meet, know, observe, many women of all ages who embraced all that "mommy" should be, and sacrificially poured themselves into their children.
And this song could/should be sung by all such privileged children to theirs moms:
