Since the gospel is "of first importance" the Easter holiday, though special to families, should not have any more significance than any other day.
Our hope is not in CHRISTmas, or "gospel' Friday, or Easter morning...or church membership, or baptism, or some ecstatic experience, or in the color of our skin, nor in doctrinal "purity" (on secondary issues stressed by man and/or denominations)...
No, our hope is built on "nothing less, than Jesus and His righteousness..."
But the Easter holiday is a good excuse for a fine meal, great company, and thanksgiving to the Giver of all good gifts:
Janelle and Melissa go through Jane's food line...
Jacob (10 on April 10!!!) watches Mom dish it out:
An after lunch hike in the woods results in Jane finding one mushroom...
after hours and hours of collective looking...lousy ROI but fun!
