This is an old Harry Chapin song...and it's message is an indictment on most forms of "education". Yes, Jesus is THE (only)way...but beyond that...you gotta find what works for you as far as "quiet time," memory work, support raising, sharing the gospel...etc....and I think this arrangement of the song illustrates the drudgery that follows "this is THE way you are SUPPOSED to evangelize, raise support, etc..."

well, i had never heard that song before, but it does bring up a very good point-- which you had touched on. God did make us all unique and there is no set rules for everything. That is what the Pharisee's did and that's called legalism. Although as Christians it is easy to fall into the trap of "Well, we've always done communion this way" "We've always done youth group this way"....and "We know this works so that's why we do it" That is my least favorite. Even if something has "failed" let someone with a fresh perspective try it. Who knows? Maybe it will work this time. I guess I went on a little too long with this...it's just that I think evangelism would be so much better is we allowed people to use their creativity. enough said.
