On this Valentines day I enjoy those great theologians John, Paul, George, and Ringo. In a sense, once you come (or, more scriptural, brought) to Christ, "love is all you need." As A. W. Tozer stated, "Our Lord told His disciples that love and obedience are organically united - the final test of love is obedience." As Jesus declared in John 14.21 "Whoever has My commandments, and keeps them, he it is who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, adn I will love him and manifest Myself to him."
By the way, regarding human love, the best description I've heard is simple yet profound: "I want for you, what is best for you, for the longest period of time."
