Sherman was correct - "War is hell." As a vietnam veteran Memorial Day brings memories happy as well as sad...guys I served with who came home in bags rather than Freedom Birds...and I pray for our troops in harms way today...and pray especially they are given the means and freedom to protect themselves as well as America.
In the hustle of the holiday, don't forget the reason for Memorial Day.
